X-Com for iOS

I deleted X-Com from my phone because I needed the space for a couple of different apps. X-Com is a beautiful game, both from the aesthetic stand-point as well as the design. It uses the touchscreen well, creating a very engaging experience. It clearly shows the possibilities of iOS as a game platform, but-- it took forever to load. If I wanted to play, I really needed to set aside a block of time that I could sit down and play. Most of the time, my phone is for spur of the moment entertainment. If I'm bored for a little bit, I'll pull out the phone and see what I can do. And the screen was a little small. It was remarkably clear for its size, but the text was still small, and the icons were small to tap or drag. But I probably would have kept it and kept playing it if it hadn't been for the size of the game. I really can't afford to give up that much storage for a game. What I think it would be ideal for would be a 32 gig iPad Mini. If I ever get my hands on one, I'll be sure to give X-Com another spin.
