OXBLOG'S LONDON CORRESPONDENT, Vishal Arya:

I was walking along the embankment near Waterloo Bridge around 1 PM when I caught a group of protestors marching along. Yes, it was a very small group: I'd say 45-50. All white. Some protestors brought their poor kids to hold signs. One kid asked, "Dad, when are we going home?" I liked that kid. Several cars that drove by opened their windows and shouted either "bastards" or "wankers." That seemed to catch the protestors off guard. But they shrugged it off and kept marching, shouting "George Bush - Terrorist!, Tony Blair - Terrorist!." What was most surprising was that most people on the embankment just kept walking and doing their own thing. Nobody stopped and watched or shouted encouragement or support.
